The next Act and patch 4.08 will go live on April 27 2022.
After so much of speculation and data leaks, it’s confirmed that the leaks of Fade were true along with her abilities. Today Riot officially revealed the cinematic and gameplay trailer of Episode 4 Act 3 and Fade respectively.
Fade will be the 19th agent and 5th initiator in the agent roaster and from the looks of the test server build where several content creators got an early chance to play her says that she is a mixture of Sova, Breach, Skye and Ryena but with a more darker tone.
FADE’S ABILITIES :
Haunt (E): Equip a nightmarish entity. FIRE to throw the orb, which will plummet to the ground after a set time. Upon hitting the ground, the orb will turn into a nightmarish entity that will reveal the location of enemies caught in its line of sight. Enemies can destroy this entity. RE-USE the ability to drop the projectile early in the flight.
Seize (Q): Equip an orb of nightmare ink. FIRE to throw the orb, which will plummet to the ground after a set time. Upon hitting the ground, the ink will explode and create a zone where enemies caught in it cannot escape the zone by normal means. RE-USE the ability to drop the projectile early in-flight
Prowler (C): EQUIP a Prowler. FIRE will send the Prowler out, causing it to travel in a straight line. The Prowler will lock onto any enemies or trails in their frontal vision cone and chase them, nearsighted them if it reaches them. HOLD the FIRE button to steer the Prowler in the direction of your crosshair.
Nightfall (X): EQUIP the power of Fear. FIRE to send out a wave of nightmare energy that can traverse through walls. The energy creates a trail to the opponent as well as deafens and decays them
Along with the new agent, Riot also will fix and add some new features with their quarterly patches along with the new battlepass.
Some Key Changes are :
- Jett’s primary ability – Tailwind will get a major nerf – On pressing the ability key, after a short delay, Jett activates a 12-second window where she is empowered to immediately dash on the next button press. They decided this major decision deliberately to adjust her tactical decision making rather than a free escape due to her short to no delay after pressing the key, this made the developers re-think about her play her matches against other agents who requires at least some kind of planning before executing.
- RGX 11z Pro 2 Skin bundle – The already amazing RGX bundle is getting expanded in this Act as the bundle will now include, Phantom , Operator , Classic and an amazing RGB Butterfly knife.
