It’s been a decade since the Max Payne 3 released which sadly was the last time we’ve seen the epic yet weak showdown of Max .
But 2 days ago , Remedy announced the news of the Remake in their Twitter handle and also gave some pieces of information.

- Both Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes will be sold in a bundle just like Rockstar did with the GTA – Trilogy.
- Rockstar Games still holds the rights of Max Payne and is funding the Remake to Remedy .
- Remedy assures that the budget will be “in line with a typical Remedy AAA-game production”
- We’re nowhere near the release window as they are just starting to work on the concept work and Pre-Production.
- Sources say that voice of Max, James McCaffrey, is back, as he has continued to work with Remedy.
- The games will run on none other than Northlight Game Engine that Remedy uses for all its games including 2019’s paranormal marvel Control.
- Remedy is also working on the sequel to Control, Alan Wake 2, a spin-off multiplayer based on Control and a free-to-play deal with Tencent.
