Intel covertly enters the GPU market

It’s been a while since the Intel X GPU leaks were floating , but it’s confirmed that Intel planning a live event on March 30th which showcases laptops powered by their Arc technology .

A tweet from Intel confirms that we should expect to see some “OEM devices featuring Arc GPUs will be launched by the end of this month. It’s been speculated that there will be five different SKUs and from high-end discrete graphics with 512 EUs with 16GB VRAM to a low-end SKU with 96 EUs and 4GB VRAM, seemingly making a laptop GPU for all budgets.

But it’s worth mentioning that these are not the mainstream GPUs from Intel for this they are planning to showcase at end of the first half or beginning of the second half as its other competitors will also reveal the next-gen GPU’s that time.

Intel wants to make sure the launch of the Arc desktop GPUs goes off without a hitch when its competitors’ video cards are back in stock and lowering in price, which is great news from a consumer’s perspective as the pricing may be quite competitive.
